Here are some styling guidelines when wearing mary jane shoes:
- Tights - Go with leggings in black and solid dark colors. Avoid loud prints and stripes. You don’t want to look like a candystriper!
- Cigarette pants - Skinny pants + mary janes accentuate a slim silhouette.
- Pencil skirts and shift dresses - Again you’re going for a slim look - emphasis on the vertical lines.
- Bonus tip - Jeans - The black mary janes pair perfectly with your favorite slim fitting jeans. Think classic Levi’s.

Geisha costumes are some of the most popular Halloween costumes this year. These costumes consist of a Japanese kimono or Chinese qi pao (cheong sam) in traditional colors such as red or white.
