Here are some styling guidelines when wearing mary jane shoes:

• Tights - Go with leggings in black and solid dark colors. Avoid loud prints and stripes. You don’t want to look like a candystriper!
• Cigarette pants - Skinny pants + mary janes accentuate a slim silhouette.
• Pencil skirts and shift dresses - Again you’re going for a slim look - emphasis on the vertical lines.
• Bonus tip - Jeans - The black mary janes pair perfectly with your favorite slim fitting jeans. Think classic Levi’s.
